1. MUSIC & MINDFULNESS (2 Minutes)
Play soft instrumental music: Taizé - Jesus Remember Me / Morning Light Piano. Children sit quietly, eyes closed.
Guide (read slowly & softly):
Good morning, my lovely children.
Let's sit nicely. Close your eyes. Put your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in... and breathe out slowly...
One more time... breathe in God's love... and breathe out all your worries.
God is inside your heart. God sees your inside, not only your outside.
[Silence 30 seconds - music only]
2. OPENING RITE
Leader: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen.
Leader: Good morning, children of God! Jesus is here with us today to teach us how to have a beautiful heart.
3. OPENING PRAYER
All pray together:
Lord Jesus, thank You for this new morning.
Thank You for our life, our family, and our school.
Today, You will teach us to be good not only outside, but also inside.
Open our ears and our hearts to hear Your Word.
Amen.
4. GOSPEL READING - Luke 11:42-46
Source: Kalender Liturgi 2026 - imankatolik.or.id & katolik.org - Iman Katolik
Leader: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
Jesus said: “But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and herbs of all kinds, and neglect justice and the love of God; it is these you ought to have practiced, without neglecting the others.
Woe to you Pharisees! For you love to have the seat of honor in the synagogues and to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces.
Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without realizing it.”
One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us too.”
And he said, “Woe also to you lawyers! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not lift a finger to ease them.”
Leader: The Gospel of the Lord.
All: Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.
5. SHORT REFLECTION
My dear children of Fransiskus 2,
In today's Gospel, Jesus meets people called Pharisees and lawyers. From the outside, they look perfect. Their clothes are clean. They pray a lot. They always want the best chair. But Jesus says their inside is empty.
It is like a beautiful gift box. Outside it is shiny with ribbon, but inside it is empty! Jesus does not want that.
What does Jesus want? 3 things:
1. Justice - Be fair. Don't cheat when you play. Share equally.
2. Love of God - Pray from your heart, not just moving your lips.
3. Helping Heart - Don't give heavy work to your friends while you just watch. Help together.
According to Katolik.org, God does not look at how good we look, but how good our heart is.
Today's Mission: Clean uniform outside AND kind heart inside.
6. GENERAL INTERCESSIONS (Read by Leader Only)
Leader reads all intentions, children pray in silence in their hearts.
Let us bring our prayers to God, who sees our hearts.
1. For our Holy Church, our Pope, priests, Sr. M. Paulis FSGM and all our teachers, that they may always teach us with patience and sincere love. Lord, hear our prayer.
2. For our parents and families at home, who work hard for us every day, may God give them health and joy. Lord, hear our prayer.
3. For our friends who are sick, sad, or having difficulties today, that we may have the courage to help and comfort them, not just watch them. Lord, hear our prayer.
4. For all of us students of SD Fransiskus 2, that we may not only look good outside, but also have a heart that is fair, loving, and helpful like Jesus. Lord, hear our prayer.
We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
7. CLOSING
Leader: Let us pray together the prayer Jesus taught us.
All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name... Amen.
Leader: May the Lord bless us, keep our hearts clean, and make us children who are good inside and outside. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen.
Leader: Have a beautiful and kind-hearted day!
All: Thank you, Jesus!
